Waterloo Police are reaching out to the public for assistance in an arson case reported on March 7th, 2024. Responding to a house fire in the 800 block of Sumner Street, investigators discovered that someone intentionally set fire to a vehicle and the backside of the residence. Fortunately, all ten individuals inside the house at the time were unharmed. Authorities are urging anyone with information or relevant video footage from the area around 5:13 pm on the day of the incident to submit it through their website or the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers website.
