Snapp urged recipients to hang up promptly if they receive such calls and advised verifying the legitimacy of communications by contacting the Salvation Army directly at 507-288-3663. She highlighted the importance of safeguarding private information, as scammers could misuse it for various nefarious purposes. Residents are encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious calls to the Salvation Army.
