In a Wednesday morning incident, a semi rollover on Highway 13/151 near Marion resulted in two injuries and prompt rescue operations. At approximately 8:45 a.m., the driver of a seed truck lost control, causing it to roll in the southbound lanes near Travis Road. The truck obstructed southbound lanes entirely, with seed corn and debris blocking one northbound lane.
First responders discovered the driver and a passenger trapped in the vehicle, necessitating extraction efforts. A helicopter transported one injured person to the hospital, while the other received ambulance transportation.
The severity of the injuries has led to the withholding of their names by officials.
