The Glenwood school district’s second attempt to secure funding for relocating Kids Place, the largest daycare provider in the community, was rejected by voters. The proposed relocation aimed to address the impending closure of the Glenwood Resource Center (GDR), where Kids Place is currently situated.

The closure of GDR necessitates the relocation of the childcare facility and other district programs within the next two years. Despite concerns about the impact on the community’s economic landscape, some residents felt that more effort should have been made to secure alternative funding for the relocation.
