A tragic head-on collision in Delaware County resulted in the loss of one life and left another individual injured. The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. on 210th Street east of Earlville, involving a pickup truck and a semi.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the pickup truck’s driver, 59-year-old Terry Meyer from Dyersville, crossed the centerline, leading to a direct impact with the semi. Unfortunately, Terry Meyer succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
