In the early hours of Friday morning, 40 members from various local law enforcement agencies gathered in Cedar Rapids to join the US Marshals on a 3-mile run. Participants from agencies such as the Iowa State Patrol, Marion Police, Cedar Rapids Police Department, Department of Corrections, US Attorneys, Iowa City Public Safety, Homeland Security, US District Court, Bankruptcy, Clerk’s Office, and more, collectively carried the US flag during the run.
The event was organized to pay tribute to the Fallen Heroes of the US Marshals Service.
