Day two of the Duval Walker trial in Marion, Iowa, brought testimonies from first responders and law enforcement officers who were present at the scene following the alleged shooting of 32-year-old Cameron Barnes. The officers detailed the investigative processes, including the execution of search warrants for Walker and Barnes’ vehicles, Walker’s residence, and his Facebook page. The defense raised questions about how law enforcement first learned of Walker and also inquired about the delay in searching for witnesses to Walker’s arrest in Waterloo.
Walker is facing charges of first-degree murder and going armed with intent, potentially leading to a life sentence.
