Thursday morning around 8 a.m. fire crews responded to The Palms Theatres & IMAX in Waukee at 200 NE Westgate Drive. It was reported that is was a small fire in a mechanical room that caused the fire sprinklers to trigger. The damage is considered minor from smoke and water. However, they believe they will still open as soon as this afternoon.
